Mountain Gloom and Mountain Glory is a husband-and-wife duo specializing in classic honky-tonk and western swing tunes from the ‘20s through the ‘70s, with a few pop songs and originals. We play from a very large repertoire of songs from the likes of George Jones, Hank Williams, the Carter Family, Loretta Lynn, Bob Wills, Kitty Wells, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Tammy Wynette, Fats Domino, Patsy Cline, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, the Louvin Brothers, and many others.
Memorable lyrics, cheerful melodies, bright harmonies, danceable beats, lively solos – that’s us. We like to keep our songs short so that we can bring plenty of them to every gig. Children and old-timers always dig our sound. So will you.
