As a solo artist, I enjoy providing familiar songs as well as instrumental music to the audience that fits neatly into the background. It is important to me as both a musician as well as a patron to remember that music at a bar/restaurant is not a concert, it is intended to provide a backdrop that compliments the intended atmosphere.
