MiddleCoast Brewing Co. is Traverse City’s first brewstillery, making both beers and spirits in house. With a wide range of beers, seltzers and cocktails, there is something for everyone. Our historic building on State Street was the original location of the Traverse City Police department stables and therefore has a large open space inside.
Established in 2017, the brewery was purchased by the original brewers (two music loving dudes) in 2023, and they knew it just had to become a music venue. The space is just too great not to. They built a full stage and installed their own sound system.

What a great space in downtown Traverse City, nestled in a gem of a spot. I saw The Ampersands full band at MiddleCoast Brewing Co. and the volume was just right, great music, customers were dancing and a great time was had by all. I hear the owners are renovating the space soon and I'm anxious to see the new layout and stage! Will be back for sure.
